the Adriatic, Rovinj. The world-famous national park the Brijuni-Islands can be
seen from Barbariga. This islands are protected by the UNESCO and definitely
worth a visit.
At the coast ruins of Roman country houses from the first century were found. They also found the remains of an antique oil press. The area around Barbariga is very green and perfect for a recreational holiday. By the way: did we mention that the village is called after a Venetian noble family?
